rebrand-rollout

Rebrand rollouts

Rebrand every uniform in one changeover

Mergers · New brand identity · Group consolidation · Name changes.

A rebrand is judged twice — on the day you launch it, and a year later. We plan for both.

When this comes up

Eight moments that put every uniform in play

A rebrand rollout is rarely a design decision. It is almost always the operational tail of something else — and it usually arrives with a date already attached.

Merger or Acquisition

Two workforces, two logos, one new entity.

New Brand Identity

A refreshed mark, palette or wordmark to roll out.

Group Consolidation

Independent practices brought under one banner.

Legal Name Change

A new trading name across every garment and badge.

Franchise Rollout

A network that has to look identical in every location.

New Site Openings

Growth that exposes how inconsistent the fleet already is.

Multi-site Standardisation

Ending the drift between sites that order separately.

Department Colour Coding

Roles made visible to patients and to each other.

The process

How a rollout actually runs

Four stages. The work that decides whether a rebrand lands cleanly happens in the first two, long before anything is stitched — and the fourth is what keeps it landed.

01

Audit

Every site, every role, every garment currently in service — and the sizes behind them.

02

Approve

New artwork prepared and the embroidery setup approved before anything is decorated in volume.

03

Stage

Decorated, sorted and packed by site and by person, held until the changeover date.

04

Switch

Sites change together, or in the order you set. Old stock retired rather than quietly recirculating.

Decorated in Australia

One facility, one deadline

Rebrands go wrong when decoration is split across suppliers. Two embroiderers reading the same artwork file will not produce the same logo, and on a wall of staff the difference is obvious. One facility, one thread standard, one changeover to plan around.

After the changeover

The portal is what stops the old logo coming back

This is the second judgement. Most rebrands survive launch day and then erode over the following year, as sites reorder from old lists and new starters are handed whatever is in the cupboard. Holding the approved range against your program is what stops that.

What a managed rollout prevent

The failure modes we plan around

These are the things that go wrong when a rebrand is treated as a print job rather than an operation. Each one is planned around rather than discovered.

No Mixed Branding

Nobody left in the old logo on launch day.

No Mixed Branding

Fit data captured in the audit, not on the day.

One Sequence

Sites change to a plan, not whenever each one gets around to it.

Old Stock Retired

Deliberately, rather than drifting back into circulation.

Artwork That Holds

One digitised file, reused on every reorder.

Decorated In One Place

Every garment through the same facility, to the same standard.

Less Administration

One supplier, one contact, one schedule.

A Standard That Sticks

The approved range enforced by the portal.

Proven in practice

What it looks like on the other side

Rolling out a consistent uniform program across four practices used to involve dozens of emails, sizing issues and constant reorders. Med Uniforms helped us standardise everything, and the staff ordering portal has reduced the administration far more than we expected.

We changed our name across six sites and expected the uniforms to be the messy part. Having the artwork redone once and every site staged to the same date meant staff turned up in the new brand together, rather than the change dragging on for months.

Common questions

Rebrands and rollouts — frequently asked questions

No. Most organisations stage the changeover site by site or role by role. What matters is that the sequence is agreed in advance rather than discovered, so no location is left in the old brand indefinitely.

That is your decision. Existing garments can be worn out where that is sensible, or retired at an agreed point. We plan around whichever you choose rather than assuming everything is replaced at once.

We prepare the new artwork for embroidery from whatever you supply. A rebrand is the point at which the embroidery setup is rebuilt anyway, so it is the natural time to get the standard right.

Usually yes, if those garments are still available. Where a style has changed or been discontinued, the closest suitable option is identified and confirmed with you.

The old setup is retired and the new one is held against your program, so reorders and new starter packs use the new standard. Where the staff ordering portal is used, staff can only order from the approved range.

We do, working to the sequence agreed with you. Each location is staged, decorated and delivered against that plan rather than ordering independently.

Ranges can differ by location or role while the branding standard stays identical across all of them. That is how a group stays consistent without forcing every site into the same garments.

Yes. All decoration is done in our own Australian facility, which is why one thread standard applies across every site in the rollout.
