Send your artwork

Upload your logo.

Vector artwork is preferred, but if you only have a PNG or JPG, send it through. We’ll check it and let you know if anything else is required.

Your artwork is used only to prepare your embroidery and is never shared. Prefer email? Send it to sales@meduniforms.com.au or call 1300 736 665.

The process

From your logo to finished embroidery.

Four steps. You send the artwork, we handle the rest, and nothing goes into production until you’ve approved the embroidery setup.

01

Upload your logo

Send the best version of your organisation’s logo that you have available.

02

We check the artwork

Our team reviews the file, colours, detail and suitability for embroidery.

03

We prepare it

If required, we prepare or digitise the artwork for embroidery and confirm any necessary adjustments.

04

You approve

You see the embroidery setup before production proceeds.

Logo files

Send the best file you have.

Preferred

AI · EPS · SVG · Vector PDF

Vector artwork can be scaled to any embroidery size without losing detail, so it gives the cleanest stitch result.

Good

High-resolution PNG

A large PNG with a transparent background is usually enough for us to work from and assess.

Still send it

JPG, JPEG or any other logo file

Even a file taken from your website or a document gives us something to review and respond to.

Don’t have the right file? Send us what you have.

Most organisations don’t know which version of their logo is the original, and that is not a problem. Send whatever you can find and our team will assess it, then tell you plainly whether it will embroider well as it is or whether the artwork needs preparing first.

Artwork review

We check more than the file type.

A logo that looks sharp on a screen is not always a logo that stitches cleanly. Thread has a minimum size it can hold, so our team looks at how your artwork will behave once it is sewn into fabric rather than printed.

Resolution and overall artwork quality

Colours and how closely thread can match them

Small lettering and taglines

Fine detail and thin lines

Gradients, shadows and effects

The size the logo will be embroidered at

Placement on the garment

Overall suitability for embroidery

Where something won’t reproduce cleanly in thread, we tell you what we’d adjust and why, and you decide. We don’t redraw your brand without asking.

Embroidery placement options

Digitising

Artwork and embroidery files are different things.

An embroidery machine cannot read a logo file. It reads a digitised stitch file, which sets the stitch type, direction, density and the order everything is sewn in.

If your logo has not been prepared for embroidery before, we can arrange that as part of setting your program up. We retain the file so your future orders stay consistent, and we’ll tell you if a different garment, placement or embroidery size needs an adjustment.

Questions about logo files

Vector artwork — AI, EPS, SVG or a vector PDF. Vector files can be scaled to any embroidery size without losing detail, which means the stitch file can be built accurately for a small chest logo or a large back placement from the same source.

Yes. A high-resolution PNG with a transparent background is usually enough to work from, and a JPG still gives us something to assess. If the file isn’t good enough to embroider from cleanly, we’ll tell you before anything is set up.

That is very common. Send whatever version you have and we’ll review it. In most cases the artwork can be prepared for embroidery as a one-time setup step, and we’ll confirm what is involved before proceeding.

Thread colours are matched as closely as the available thread range allows. We match to your brand specification and show you the result in a stitch-out, so you can see the actual colours on fabric before production rather than approving them on a screen.

Yes. You review and approve the embroidery setup before production. Once approved, we retain your embroidery file and use the approved setup as the standard for future orders. If a different garment, placement or embroidery size requires an adjustment, we’ll let you know.

We’ll flag it. Very small lettering and hairline detail can close up in thread, so we’ll tell you what we would adjust, at what embroidery size it will hold, and let you decide. We do not change your logo without your approval.

Yes. Once your logo is digitised and approved we hold the file, so reorders and new starters are produced to the same standard without repeating the setup. If you later add a different garment, placement or embroidery size, the setup may need adjusting for it — we’ll tell you if that applies.
